The Yoga Practice offers online classes for adults, children, teenagers and postnatal mum’s as part of its weekly timetable.

They offer a full program for primary and secondary schools, including in-house training for school teachers – “Yoga for all stages of life”.

Our main instructor Veronica founded Little Greene Yoga (our sister company) in 2005. Little Greene Yoga was the first Registered Children's Yoga School in Scotland and provides a certified training programme to train individuals to become Yoga Instructors. The LGY programme offers certified teacher training courses to teach yoga to 3-5yrs & 5-8yr (The Kids Foundation Teacher Training course), 8-12yrs (Alignment Based Yoga for 8-12yr olds) & TEEN - Mind & Body.

The syllabus also includes CPD courses in Yoga for Classrooms and Postnatal Yoga for fully qualified yoga instructors. They runs regular workshops to educate teaching staff, within Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools, on how to use yoga as part of their school curriculum.

Veronica continues to teach her own timetable of classes, both privately and within Education Establishments around Central Scotland.

Her work with TEENAGERS is not just focused on schools but with many hospitals and clinics working with teenagers who struggle with many anxiety disorders including OCD, Aspergers, Eating Disorders and GAD.

She also tailors yoga sessions for Teenage Athletes working on programmes specifically for Football, Rugby, Hockey, Swimming, Athletics and Dance. All tailored to each specific audience to engage, create a strong balanced body while minimising injury.

She provides mentoring for new instructors and writes for numerous yoga publications both in print and online.

Veronica’s Adult classes are taught with the same passion and attention to detail!

She qualified as a fitness and movement instructor in 1993 and soon began teaching Stretch Body & Mind classes. In 1999 she embarked on her first Yoga qualification - Yoga Therapist Diploma with the Kevala Institute.

Veronica's passion was always in alignment having attended her first Iyengar Yoga class at the Edinburgh Iyengar Institute shortly after graduating (B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering) in 1990. She had continued to practice Iyengar yoga with some of the UK's incredible Iyengar instructors. In 2008 she passed her Introductory Certificate to Teach Iyengar Yoga (2 year course) and passed her Junior Intermediate Certificate in 2011.

Veronica is a Registered Senior Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK (YAP).
